Medical Staff The physician is responsible for directing your care while you are in the hospital and should be consulted if you have questions about your illness. Nursing Staff
Twenty-four hour nursing care is provided by a team of professional nurses and nursing assistants. A Charge Nurse is responsible for coordinating nursing care on each shift. Please feel free to contact your nurse or the Charge Nurse if you have questions or concerns.
Social Services
If you feel the Social Services department can benefit you, please contact your nurse. Pastoral Care Members of the pastoral services staff are available to assist you, whatever your religious affiliation. A chaplain is available to you and your loved ones at any time for prayer, spiritual concerns or support of any kind. Pastoral Care Services are provided by area community clergy. When you enter the hospital, you are asked about your church affiliation and whether you would like a pastor to visit. If, at any time during your stay at WMMC you need special information, counsel, or simply a visit from the clergy, contact the nursing staff who will arrange it promptly. We strive to work closely with all the area churches so that your needs may be met. Weskota Memorial is guided by the spiritual principles of healing and respect for the dignity of the whole person. It is our belief that total care takes into consideration physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs of each patient.
