FOR FAMILY AND FRIENDS
Visiting
Guidelines
Visitors are welcome
and offer a pleasant diversion for our patients.
-
Normal visiting
hours are 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Other visiting arrangements may be made
for families with special needs by contacting a nurse.
-
Visitors must
dress appropriately and must wear shirts and shoes.
-
Visitors in
semi-private rooms must be considerate of both patients. Depending on the
patient's health status, the number of visitors might be limited.
-
Visitors with
colds, sore throats, or any contagious diseases should not visit
patients. Visitors should maintain a quiet environment and avoid
unnecessary noise and keep visits short.
-
Visitors may be
asked to leave the room during tests or treatments or when the doctor or
nurse needs to see the patient.
Flowers and
Balloons
Flowers and balloon
bouquets are welcomed by most patients. Balloons cannot be tied to cribs
for obvious safety reasons. Please keep in mind that large plants and
flowers are difficult to deliver and remove upon discharge.
